The Jonesboy Beta Creatine Experiment

Ok Let's get it on!!

Age: 36
Height 5ft 8in.
Weight 194lbs last time i weighed myself. i try to stay away.
Waist: i wear a 36 I'm not fat but i have some padding.
Diet: My diet usually looks something like this on my good days.
meal 1: oatmeal
meal 2: shake
meal 3: chicken or steak with a salad
meal 4: protien bar
meal 5: chicken or steak or pork chop, salad or rice with some potatoes occasionaly
meal 6: protien bar

My workout routine is the basic HST method. I have in the last week started working out 5 days a week instead of 3. I can't get a good leg workout and still have the energy to do a complete whole body routine.

Day 1 was yesterday. I took two pills in the morning as directed before breakfast. At the gym i did feel a good pump in my chest. I actually had a guy i kinda know come over and poke me in my chest...take it for whatever that could mean. I wasn't sure what was going on yesterday but i had to quit my workout early i just wasn't feeling right. I then went home and took my second dose of the day as directed. Today will be day 2 of the little beta experiment so i will report back tomorrow.. cheers and later....

Remember to take in those simple sugars post-workout- everything else looks good!!
 
If I may add, you could cut down at least a protein bar if possible, they're not very healthy most of the time. Maybe add a tuna sandwich with whole wheat bread will lower the GI of the diet, and therefore make better gains ;)

Thursday:

Okay I took two pills in the morning and maybe it is just me but i felt a little big afterwards. My muscles felt full, it was a good feeling. Had a good workout and felt nice and tight all night after my workout.

Friday:

Worked out this morning not 20 minutes ago and i feel good. Real good recovery time between sets and a nice pump. Just to try and give a accurate record i weighed myself after my workout and i weighed 198lbs
I am still looking lean at least to my eyes so no fear at the moment that it might be water or anything else pumping me up. I think it is too early to tell how it is helping or not with weight progression but creatine usally helps me in that department so i will keep a look out for it and give a heads up if i notice anything. well that is about it let me know if i am leaving anything out or if anyone whats anymore details anything that i am doing...

Just a weekend update. Saturday and Sunday are my day's off from the gym. But i had to update the log by saying that. This stuff is nice. I have a nice hard full muscle feeling all day longer and i am feeling bigger and looking leaner. That is not just me talking but my wife also.
I also wanted to make sure that taking some cissus would be ok. Getting some aches and pains and not to mention that i really like me cissus.
 
Wow.... i must have the placebo because I don't feel crap and that is why I have posted anything as of yet.

Could be your just a non-responder like me. If you look at my log you will see that I havent experienced anything yet either.

Taking cissus is ok:) Ronin- please bump up the dosage to 3 caps, twice a day- plus, creatine tends to work faster in some people rather than others- give it 10 days:)

Monday's Workout.

Well i continued to look and feel lean the whole day. Workout was good I can tell i am gettiing some strength increases from the beta C because last week i had a little trouble with 130lbs cable rows and on Monday i did 140lbs for 2 sets with no problem. Chins are getting easier too. I have to say i like the pump. It is not the normal pump you get it's like a hard muscle pump. It doesn't hurt or anything like that :) but it does last all evening for me which is a nice feeling. So far i would have to say i really like this product. I can feel it right after i take it in the morning and it seems to last all day. I really believe i am losing some fat on this because i am still looking lean again at least to my eyes through out the day. Add the nice tight muscle feel with a long lasting pump after the workout and USP has a killer product on hand. I am dying to try this with some powerfull and some cissus. Man, whew that will be one heck of a stack. Weight before workout was 195lbs. a swing of 3lbs from last time. Well thats it for now will report back on the morrow ...

just the normal two in the morning before breakfast and two after workout before my dinner. :) Let me know if you want me to change it up at all. Like two in the morning two preworkout with a shack and two after. I'll experiment anyway you want...

Yeah take a dose with preworkout shake (15 minutes before).
 
ok I screwed the pooch by forgetting to update on tuesday. so here is tuesdays and wednesdays update.

Both workouts went well. I can tell that i am getting that extra strength from the creatine now. Recovery time is great. It got me in a little trouble yesterday. :) MY mind was ready for that next set but my muscles still needed that full 1:00 to 1:30 between sets which i didn't give it. My muscles are still feeling nice and hard all day. It's just a nice tight feeling. Diet has been rock on all week so far. I didn't get a chance to add in the new dosing. i will start that today.

My weight is now 197lbs that's a +3lbs since the start.:bb2:

Did you feel a difference from taking it with pre workout meal?
 
I have not had a chance to take it preworkout yet. i will try that today and report back on how it went.
 
Yesterday's workout: First let me say that my workout kicked some butt. My strength is really coming back. I am almost doing on my set of 10's what i was doing during my 5's while on cycle... so me happy. Cissus is really helping now with my shoulders and the pain i am having near my elbows. My diet yesterday wasn't that good. i will justify it by calling it my cheat day.

New Dosing Protocol: One in the morning, One Pre-Workout, One After workout or before last meal of the day.

Oberservations: My body still felt nice and hard :) all day long. Strength is improving in all area's. Here is what was NEW. i finish my workout at around 5:00 by 8:00 last night and still on my second dose of Beta C my muscles were tight as hell and hurting. Not a bad hurt but a hey you worked out hurt. Even my muscles i worked the day before were hurting and that just doesn't happen to me anymore. Again they felt hard and tight with a little pain tingel going on. I used my wifes little massage thingy because they were so pumped i guess. Just in case you are wondering no i wasn't in need of water. After working out i had over four glasses of water.
Well, i will try it again today and see what happens. Real good stuff so far. I have never had any creatine like this before i will tell you that much..........Later gator.

Thanks for the feedback!! This is the reason behind testing- it helps me tweak the product to the most effective ratios. Glad you like the results!!
 
Friday's workout was the same as thursdays. Same nice tight feeling all day long with a real nice hard pump later in the day after working out. My muscles are still feeling tight this morning after waking up and i still havn't taken my morning dose yet. Strength is improving as well as recovery time. The only thing i haven't mentioned is that after taking the pills they seem a little rough on my belly. Nothing bad but a little shall i say upset stomach feeling. Of course that is why you eat 15 mins. after taking them right. My wife is taking cissus/powerfull at the moment on monday i was thinking of giving her two preworkout just to see what she has to say.

I have been thinking about the pump feeling i am getting. Just to give it a comparision. For me i would compare it to prostan.

Well i hope this log doesn't suck to bad. Thanks D for letting me know i am not alone in this world. :)

You’re not alone! Ive had been reading this log the entire time. I find the beta product rough enough on the stomach to bother me only when I take the 3 caps 15 mins before preworkout meal. It upsets it mildly during the workout for the 1st 30mins in the gym or so. Im happy it seems to working out for you :)
 
I am reading it too. Got my own log and the same thing is happening with mine. Don't despair, keep up the log and know we are taking it all in.
 
I'm reading to, got my own log as well but i'm not getting the stomach pains. I am getting an awesome libido boost at 11 days in now though which is much welcomed, lol.

Good workout monday. Weights are low due to a new rep change to 8's using HST. Recovery time is fantastic. I am still losing bodyfat. i think it is a combo of the Beta C and a stricter diet. Still two thumbs up so far!!

Here is my workout for any questions or comments. I do compound weights on mwf and isolations on t,th. Yes my legs are weak so no comments on that :)

i do two sets of 8 for each excercise excepts calves and abs. Good form and tempo

Yesterday i didn't have the big pump that i am use to. My muscles still feel tight just not the big time pump at the end of the day like i was getting last week. Isolation days are pretty quick with cardio so i wasn't expecting much. Today is the big day so we will see how it goes. Still losing bodyfat and with my weight staying at around 197 that is a good thing.

Yesterdays workout was spot on. nice pump all through the workout and into the next morning. Still feel like i am losing weight. I am getting stronger but i was wondering is anyone else losing weight also. Its not a fast weight loss but a nice gradual one. it is still rocking.
 
Workout was quick again yesterday. Again it is just some isolations with a little cardio but i had my PUMPS back last night big time again. So me happy. I really don't know what else to say I find this to be a quality product. My strength is increasing, stamina is fantastic and i seem to be losing some body fat. Killer hard pumps, non painfull that last all day long. I have noticed that when i workout i am pumped not just on the muscle that i am mainly hitting but on all of them.
Hey D how about letting me add some powerfull to the mix for the rest of my pills. Then i could be doing the Beta C/Mega cissus/Powerfull combo :) I know that will do a body good.

Ok it has been awhile since my last post. Sorry D for that. I am still very excited about this product. I have not been able to workout since last wednesday and yet my body still has a nice hard feeling to it. I continue to lose body fat while my strength continues to increase. I am now doing 90lbs dumbels for inclines, a new personel best for me!! There has been a couple of weekends in which i have not been able or just didn't take Beta C and i have noticed that it took about 3 days for the full effect to come back. Just for general info i have taken this product 15min before eating, right before i eat and after i eat and i still get the effect. I am really going to miss the nice tight body feeling this product produces so please bring it to the market soon. This is maybe better or at least on par with cissus and powerfull. To me this is much more than just a creatine product. I know that creatine is a huge market but this is more than that. Thank you D for letting me be one of your testers. I have had no negative side effects from this product and will buy it as soon as i am able to. Oh and for those reading no i do not work for USP. I gave a negative review of Camp intense but this product is the real deal.
