I've been on Cissus for going on 2 years now and I don't think I'll be quitting.
On the note of healing... I started stacking Symmetry with Cissus about 3 weeks ago or so right about the time I started a new workout plan which called for quite a bit of above the head pressing. I have not been able to press above my head without pain for well over a year due to rotator cuff tendon inflammation.
Okay... Day 1 on the plan I do above-the head squats (hold the bar above my head and squat ATG). This feels sort of weird on the shoulders but I go ahead and finish. I cut the program short since it's new and pretty brutal and I was feeling crappy.
I get a cold the next day so I'm out for a week. During this week my tendons that normally HURT are actually *sore* like a muscle soreness. A week later when I get over my cold they don't hurt anymroe. WTF?! So I started doing clean and press with as much as 100 pounds and wow, it doesn't even cause discomfort. Same thing with DB lat pulls and other movements that used to hurt, no pain anymore.
What happened? Symmetry? Additive Cissus Effects over time? Something else? I don't know... but I'm going to go through another bottle of Symmetry and keep on my Cissus spree to be sure!
To be specific. The change was rapid, I didn't notice any progression towards less pain it just HAPPENED while I had my cold (I stayed on Symmetry and Cissus that week).
Anyone experience anything like this? I'll keep the thread up to date as any new developments come along.
