I'd change the qualifications for determining the winner. Total number of views can easily be misleading, you're going to get people hitting refresh numerous times to artificially increase the number of views. In fact I can make a script if anyone wants that will refresh that page increasing view number by whatever amount you want. I'd say a better qualification would be the number of replies to to the thread but people will also just create false accounts.

Since you're giving away $2250 in free product why not just give out some free product for logs as most companies do? Get a number of logs going on bb.com and you'll see your products being carried by a number of online retailers. It's worked well for companies like controlled labs.

I tend to agree, I am doing it because I believe in the products and would love to send more business to USP. I do not expect to win any of the big stuff, although it would be nice, but a little something just for the time and effort would be most pleasing.

It is called marketing and I really like the idea may use it for my business lol.
If you run a contest all 12 people will most likely have good results because they will be trying their VERY best because they want to win. You have no idea if it was because of the supplement or the diligence of the contestents in other parts of their workout and eating schedule

You give out some free stuff to guys and they have no where near the incentive to eat properly, get their rest and workout religiously.

The contest has obviously undergone several iterations since I've posted. Originally people would buy a USPLabs product and post at upto 4 boards. The person with the most views on their threads would be the winner.

Giving out free product to review may or may not reduce results. There would be more drive if you won something and thus better results but also more chance of someone lying. If I'm using a product it tends to motivate me more so that I'm not wasting the product.

I favor the free product giveaway for logs as it seems to create more hype around the product. Of course it can bite you in the ass if results aren't as expected, look at Melting Point and ActivaTe betas. People ask daily for the final version of the latter product and this is based off reports from users of the beta. BB.com has a large reader base so a dozen or so logs of Cissus and PowerFULL could do wonders to get the product carried by by more retailers.

USPLabs is a bit over the top with the thread titles here and this initally put me off to their products. The user reviews here of Cissus though convinced me to try it and to my surprise it lived up to hype. Word of mouth via these reviews is the cheapest and most effective form of advertising. Sure companies can claim that they've done extensive internal beta testing or fund studies but what ultimately sells the products are reviews from other users that people can associate with.

Thread titles attract the click and the body of the thread is real.

I value your opinion and its an approach we have taken since the inception of our company. The contest is to reward previous customers. We are at a point that our Products have stood the test of time. We can reward previous customers and gain new ones. The contest will take shape tomorrow.

Take care

I'm interested to see what it is. I just got my order of cissus rx, cAMP, and C2 in the mail today. Order from nutra with the rest of the stuff I needed. Look forward to trying it out. Most likely I will use the cissus on my next cycle and the camp with c2 for my cutter after pct.

I have just started Cissus & Camphibolic today for the first time. Will happily provide reviews.

My decision to purchase came from the overwhelmingly positive feedback i have seen.

Not sure what your competition is as you have edited the thread.

Im in the UK where i believe your about to start supplying, i can run a log on a UK board if you wish.

Hey folks,

I'm working out the details of this contest and trying to come up with a way to determine a winner fairly. Since you guys represent a sample of our market, your thoughts/suggestions could be very helpful!

Obviously "total views" is too inaccurate and could easily be foiled by cheaters. I could monitor this on OUR board and disqualify the cheaters, but I have no control over the others.

I'm trying to think of a "weighted scale" method, where total views is only a component of the winning criteria. Other factors such as # of posts by original poster (not including "bump" type posts) and # of posts on the thread total... etc. could be part of the equation.

I'm trying to avoid a "judging" situation where one entity (especially us) is responsible for determining the winner. This creates too many questions and certainly has the ability to skew the honesty of the logs, which would undermine the whole purpose for the contest.

Ultimately, I want you guys to feel comfortable with the rules before we begin. I'm open to any suggestions you may have. Please keep in mind we want to start this ASAP, as many people have already received their product and will not have a fair shot if we wait until they use half of it.

Thank you all!
