Forskolin is a vasolidator and could effect blood pressure. You will need to check with a supplement friendly doctor.RipdnTxs said:I have started taking B.P. meds.(benicar), will either of the supps. have any adverse effects...
Forskolin is definitely know for causing vasodilation (dilation of the blood vessels),causing transient drops in BP....RipdnTxs said:I have started taking B.P. meds.(benicar), will either of the supps. have any adverse effects...
My BP ran boderline high for a while, (what the doctor termed pre-hypertensive), and the doc suggested the possibility of meds. Consequently, I decided to pursue natural alternatives and have had great success. I use Fish oil 2gms EPA/DHA, Hawthorn extract and Forskolin (cAMP) everyday. I bought a BP gauge and my readings have come down to well within normal parameters over the last 6mths. I have also effectively removed alcohol from my diet. I have actually removed the Hawthorn while taking forskolin, with concern that it may effect a HYPOtensive state....Quite a turnaround.RipdnTxs said:I appreciate the replys, I am really going to have to start some serious cardio and see if that will bring down my B.P. naturally, I hate having to ck. every supplement now to see if I can take it..........

I don't know the severity or causes of your condition, so this may not be a viable option for you to try. Just thought I would suggest an alternative all the same...It worked for me. good luck
I saw initial improvements starting at about 30 days, with incremental improvement over the last six months into a "consistant" normal range. My BP would typically spike (pretty high) during weight lifting and exercise in general, which was a primary concern to the doc. However, I now make a point to take a reading immediately following weight training (usually every third workout) and haven't had any problems in months. This is despite the typical job and life stressors remaining static.RipdnTxs said:Sandman, how long before it came down to normal ranges, I am adopted and my doc. says my diet and exercise is not the issue, he said I am fighting genetics, I have some cAMP on the way, where did u order your fish oil???
