Cissus RX (Cissus quadrangularis)


When researching the ingredients for cAMPHIBOLIC, we included Cissus Quadrangularis primarily for its anabolic effects. The anabolic effect was based on research on bone similar to Anabolic steroids.

This sounds great for me as well as my mother. I have nagging tendonitis in both elbows and my mother has knee and ankle problems. Will this be in powder or capsule form? I ask because while I don't mind taking a bulk powder, my mom isn't too keen on the idea. She's taking MSM and Chondriton, but I know this will only help so much. I can hardly wait. Well, you got me sold on Cissus. I'm 5 weeks into a cycle and the tendonitis in my left elbow is KILLING me now. The only thing that relieves the pain is stretching or ibuprofen. Stretching causes extremely temporary relief, and ibuprofen lasts several hours, but I don't like what ibuprofen does to kidneys. Especially while I'm oncycle.

From what I gathered, dosing is 3-6g per day and there is 600mg of Cissus in each cap. So, 6-12 caps per day. I'm thinking I'll go with 8 per day, 4 in the AM and 4 in the PM. Sound good?

Btw, for my joints, I've been taking 6g hydrolized collagen, 1500mg glucosamine, 1200mg chondroitin, and about 8g of Fish Oil per day.


I'll order tonight, and after it arrives I'll start a log in this forum with my results.

ceosm, would cissus be effective for arthritis sufferers by any chance? Also my wife had a problem with one of her toes a while ago and occasionally complains of joint and tendon pain - so I told her about cissus and she's quite curious. Actually I know a few people in this bpat that have a few tendon and joint injuries.
