I started at 900 mg and now im up to 3-4 grams per serving and no more the 7 grams a day for 5 days on 2 days off. I have done 3x a day and 2x a day. As long as i take it before lift im good. I did notice quicker recovery when taking it post lift. I would say my fave dosing protocol is 3x a day: Morning/noon/night or morning/prelift/post lift But for convenience 2x a day is still very effective.
