Pip's Sponsored Prime Assault

Pippie

New member
I am really stoked to be able to do this Thread, thanks to all at USP Labs!

I have just received my Prime, and am ready to begin this assault, big time!

A bit about myself...I am 5ft 4, weighing in at 118lbs, estimated bodyfat 14%.
My main goal is to gain muscle and maintain my current bodyfat level...I would eventually like to get up to 126lbs for my off season weight. I also want to increase my strength and power when training.

I have just completed the Freak Workout, but am going to run it again during this time, using different exercises, as it is such an awesome programme.

My supplement stack, will be Prime using the 69 protocol, AP, Cissus, Recreate and Jacked. I will also be using additional BCAA and Arginine, and Dorian Yates Lean Gain and Ultimate Protein Formulas.

Diet wise, I am going to keep my protein at around 1g per lb bodyweight, carbs I am shooting for about 200g on Training days and 100g on non-training days. Fats will be low to moderate, but slightly higher on non-training days.

All I can say now is watch this space, and let the good times roll!!!:wiggle:

Well, all going great so far. Have done 2 'Freak' workouts since last post.
Stats for exercises were...

Day 1
High Incline D.B Press 12 x 4 reps with 22.5kg dbls
Incline Bicep Curls 12 x 4 reps with 15kg dbls

Day 2
Olympic Squats 5 x 5 @ 60kg
Calve Press in Leg Press Machine 5 x 5 @ 120kg
Partial Deadlift 5 x 5 @ 60kg

Felt strong, so should be able to increase some weights next round. I have gone straight into 69 protocol with Prime....hardcore! Lol
Took Jacked and 2 Recreate pre workout which made my energy levels rocket! Also took 1 AP with pre workout meal giving me an amazing pump.

That stack combo really is the dogs bo---cks, cant wait for next workout!!!

2 more workouts completed...intensity and pumps were insane. Muscles felt so hard they felt like bursting!

Day 3
Pullups 12 x 4 reps with 7.5kg weight
Dips 12 x 4 reps 5kg weight
DB Shoulder Press 12 x 4 reps with 20kg dbls

Day 4
High Incline D.B Press 5x8-12 @ 17.5kg with last 3 sets SS with DB Flyes 12.5kg
Incline Bicep Curls 5x8-12 @ 10kg with last 3 sets SS with Hammer Curls 8kg

Feel really strong at the moment, which is really boosting my confidence when training. It is really motivating.

The Prime that I have just started is the new 33% stronger version which I havent used before, so I have no doubt that I will see amazing results.

With using AP, I am alot better than usual at eating more carbs, which I can definately tell is having a major impact on my workouts and progress.

Using the Prime as well also gives me the confidence to know that I will be packing on muscle and not fat! Am feeling leaner as the week has gone on, so will check my stats again in a few days to see what my weight is doing.

Day off training tomorrow, ready for big session again on Monday...gona be awesome!

Had an amazing workout this morning...felt refreshed after day off yesterday. Didn't do Freak Workout as had planned. Hooked up with a guy from gym who is a cage fighter. He had me doing an explosive lifting programme designed for wrestlers. It was hard, but in a pleasurable sort of way, lol.

This is what we did...
Snatch - 3,2,2 and 1 x 3 reps 1RM 20kg Barbell
Powerclean - 5,3,3 x 3 and 2 x 2 reps 2 RM 40kg using Olympic Bar
Push Press - 4,3,3,2 and 1 x 3 reps 1RM 30kg Barbell
Snatchpull - 4,2 and 2 x 4 reps 2 RM 30kg Barbell
Bench Press superset plyometric push up - 8/6, 6/5, 5/4 and 3/3 x 3 3 RM 50kg

I really enjoyed it and think that I am going to incorporate it into my training programme, as feel that I will get alot of benefit from it in terms of increasing my overall strength and power. We are doing another session on Friday with different exercises, so i cant wait for that.
This means that I'm not going to continue with the Freak Workout at the moment, so I will do this programme for 2 days and then incorporate some general training into the rest of my plan.

Diet wise, all going well. I'm not strictly measuring my macros or calorie intake. I know my body well enough now that I pretty much know how much to put on my plate. Have been having 4 meals with post workout and pre bed shakes. If I feel hungry will add a snack or another shake. I do usually obsess with measurements, but lately I have come to realise that if I am going to put on some muscle, I need to eat and listen to my body. It will tell me what I need!

I feel as if the Prime is kicking in, particulary this morning. I woke up feeling alot harder and fuller, and that was after a lower carb day yesterday. Only took 6 caps yesterday with not training, but back on 9 today.

Well, Happy Training everyone. I hope that my posts are useful and motivational!

things are looking good in here Pip!! Its great that you are listening to your body and giving it the fuel it need to grow. Its also great that you able to give yourself the mental break for measuring everything and counting every calorie as you are in the offseason and there is plenty of time for that once you start prepping agian!

enjoy your week!

Did you do month 3 of the Freak as perscribed 4 on and 1 off. What did you think and how did you survive...

I did month 3, but didn't stick rigidly to 4 on and 1 off, due to other commitments. I just made sure that I did each workout once each week, and to be honest that was enough for me with the intensity of the sessions.

Yah I am trying 5 on and 2 off and it's killing me... I did only 4 days last week though, and may only do 4 days this week. I am thinking 4 days is probably enough on this routine.

Well another 3 days on and I am feeling on top form. I just seem to be getting stronger and stronger each time I train. I really feel solid and tight as hell, and the best bit is that everyone is noticing. The guys in the gym keep asking me if I'm competing. I have checked my weight and it is the same as when I started, and after checking my bodyfat properly it is 12.5%...I'm a lean, mean, fatburning machine, lol!

Since last post have have trained Chest & Biceps, and Legs.

Chest did 3 sets of 6-12-25
Incline Bench Press @ 40kg- Chest Press @ 65kg- Press ups

Biceps did 3 sets of 6-12-25
Preacher Curl @ 35kg - Hammer Curls @ 12.5kg - Incline DB Curls @ 6kg

Legs 4 sets of 10 Olympic Squats @ 55kg
4 sets of 10 deadlifts @ 70kg
4 sets of 10 seated calf raises @ 35kg.

Both workouts were short, sharp and intense...just the way I like it!

Am doing another session with the cage fighter tomorrow morning. Am looking forward to it but also dreading it at the same time, as I know how hard it will be! Having a good carb feed tonight to give me some extra energy!

Well have done 2nd explosive lifting programme, and have lived to tell the tale, lol!

We did Squat Jumps superset with box jumps -10/10, 8/6, 6/6, 4/4, 2/4 reps @ 20kg 1RM
Internal/External Shoulder rotations 15 reps x 3 sets @ 5 kg
Explosive chin ups (momentarily release hands as reach top)superset with Chin ups
6/6, 5/5, 4/4, 3/3
Push up rows superset with dips 16/10, 12/10, 8/6 @ 10kg and 5kg
Single leg squats (alternate) 12,6,4 no weight.

Was a really tough session, but was buzzing afterwards. Definately think that it would be good to incorporate some of these exercises into training programme.

I can really feel my strength going up. I'm lifting weights that I would have really struggled with in the past. Seeing and feeling a big difference with the higher strength Prime. My clothes are feeling looser as well even though I feel fuller and harder. I am sure that the AP, Jacked and Cissus are playing a big part too.

Having a homemade curry and a big bowl of ice cream tonight...ice cream is my weakness i'm afraid!!! Think I deserve it though, lol.

Just want to say, Thankyou USP Labs for the great results that i am achieving!

See you incorportated the 6-12-25 sets. I like this shorter workout scheme. There is some things I like about the Freak but month 3 was too much volume, I think it just needs to be reworked some.

Had a great cheat meal on saturday night, it was all over too quick though, lol! Felt really pumped yesterday after it. I would probably benefit greatly from training the day after my cheat, but I do like to have my meal on a Saturday, as its really the only night where me and my husband get to sit and have a proper meal together, and sunday is the only full day that we have together. I wouldn't be too popular if I went off to gym to train!

I wasn't going to do freak workout, but I did enjoy it so much that I just can't help myself. Will be doing chest and biceps later on. Just had a high carb meal with an AP, and will be having Jacked,BCAA and extra Arginine with and before my workout, so I should be firing on all cylinders. I love Mondays training...sets me up for the week, so bring it on!!!!!

This is just a quick post to say that I'm not too well at the moment. Burning candle at both ends with work has caught up with me. Will be back on form soon, and ready to carry on with my assault!

Rest up and take care of yourself!!

Have had a weekend of rest, so hopefully back on track with training today. Still don't feel 100%, so will probably ease myself into it gently, but I cant wait. I'm like a bear with a sore head when I can't train!
On a positive note, I have continued taking 6 Prime a day whilst I have been off, and I still feel hard and full. Normally if I haven't been training I feel flat and soft. My weight has also stayed the same, and usually it would drop, so I'm really pleased as I can't afford to drop any more weight.
It's such a shame that Prime has to be cycled...could stay on it forever!

Hi Pippie, I am in for the ride looks like a great stack I am going to keep an eye on this one. May have the wifey try it out next. Don't forget to rest even if it is active rest. You could try doing some machines or some exercises that take less CNS stress for a week to help recovery. No dumbells or any of that if your CNS is't having to work so hard to coordinate your movements you may be able to recover a faster while still pushing it.

Slow Reps maybe

Slow Reps maybe
That may help but I think that with the mental effort it takes to control the movement for slow reps may be taxing on the CNS as well. Great for the joints but I think it would still tax the CNS pretty good. Of course I could be completely wrong too. I may have to research that one a bit now... would be great if it was another way to train while allowing CNS recovery.

Yah would be interested in what the experts had to say on that one. I've a feeling it may not be as taxing as it's performed with reduced weight. It can still be very intense so perhaps you are right. My CNS was recovered somewhat by the time I employed the slower reps.

Well, I'm happy to say that I'm back on track! I have changed my training strategies slightly in light of some of the posts above. I have reduced my weights slightly, but slowed my reps right down, and I can honestly say that they have been some of the most intense sessions that I have done, but I haven't felt like my CNS was getting a battering!

Even though I reduced my weights, I was lifting weights that I would never have been able to do in the past at this tempo, so that is a huge positive.

It feels quite bizarre at the moment because I'm lifting slightly less than normal, training a little less so that I don't burn out again, yet I feel like I am getting better results.
I don't feel like a physical wreck after training...some of you may disagree with this?!, and I feel fuller and harder. I'm not experiencing that flat feeling at all that you get from overtraining.
Psychologically its kind of messing with my head, but physically I can feel major benefits.

I really do feel that the stack I'm using has a lot to do with this. I've never felt like this before. It has definately given me confidence that for once the suppplements that I'm using ARE ACTUALLY WORKING!

It seems that there is room to go a little bit off track sometimes and still achieve great results.
As well as feeling the benefits of Prime, I am loving Recreate and AP. The Recreate is giving me a clean sort of energy without the jitters, and unlike other products, I don't feel like it is wrecking my CNS....I did that myself! Lol.

The AP has also been an integral part of my stack. Normallly if I have taken any time off training, the carbs get dropped massively, my energy levels are reduced to an all time low, and my muscles deflate! Just knowing how well AP works has enabled me to still eat 3-4 good carb meals a day without the worry of them all turning to blubber!

Even though its never good to feel burnt out, it has had positive implications, because I have still carried on taking the stack (Recreate only before training though), and it has proven just how reliable it is and how well its works even when you lose track slightly. I also truly believe that without the stack, I would still be off training and struggling to get myself focussed again. It has reduced my recovery time greatly.

WAY TO GO USP LABS!!!

Sometimes less is more... I think a good bashing is good once in a while but most of the time were better off lifting smart. Overtraining routines shock the body, and that may be ok occaisionally.

Slow reps put a lot of preasure on the muscle...what I like to say is everything works .. just not for very long...

Good explanation DW.

Well, I have had a great week of training so far, and my strength is just going through the roof. I am focussing on strength increases for major compound exercises at the moment, to see just how much I can lift. This week I have added 2.5 kg to pull ups, 5kg to Incline Bench Press, 5kg to Olympic Squat, 5kg to Deadlift and 2.5 kg to Military Press.

I am sure that a bit of time out, and good food has contributed to this. I can really feel the Prime kicking in big time now. Am going to have to get some more soon. Thats the ONLY downside to using the 69 protocol, as you use them up very quickly.

I am getting stronger and stronger each time I train. I am going to have to watch that I don't burn out again. I have a tendency to do the training session that I planned.....and then do some more if I have time! That why its good for me to try and stick to the Freak workout, although I have to admit that I have tweaked it slightly!
I'm doing 6x4, 4x8 and 2x12, instead of 12 sets of 4, just for a bit of variety. Am getting an amazing pump with this, and muscles feel crippled at the end. I love it when I get to my 2 sets of 12 and I can hardly manage to lift anything as my muscles are so wasted.

Happy Training everyone!

Are you using the 800 mg caps or 600 cuz 6/9 with the 800's would be considered mega dosing.

Good progress 10 lbs a week on heavy exercises and 5 on isolated is about my pace for the first 4 weeks on Prime.

I was just thinking the same thing. The new caps is 5/7 for about the equivalent dose. I am currently running out the last two of the old PRIME on the 6/9 then will graduate up as I go through my 12 weeks. DW has a good dosing schedule already set up that I am going to incorporate. It is in one of his posts if you want to look it up on his log.

Whoops, I was using the 800mg, but am back onto 600 now. No wonder I shot my CNS to pieces with the intensity that I felt I could train with. But apart from that no other negative sides. Guess I wasn't taking the higher dose for long enough.

Mega dosing does nothing negative .. you will be more hungry and yah work harder and be stronger. Higher dosing is going to be better for mass gain with the reduced appetite. I use progressive dosing so at the end I am always in the Mega dose for a couple weeks.

Training still going great and the strength gains that I'm making are just awesome. This week I have added 1.25 kg to pull ups, 2.5kg to Incline Bench Press, 2.5kg to Olympic Squat, 2.5kg to Deadlift and 1.25 kg to Military Press.

I have cut down on the number of days that I'm training (4 instead of 5-6) and I'm concentrating on eating lots of really good clean foods. Combined with the supplements, these are possibly the best results that I have ever experienced in such a short space of time. I'm even doing less cardio that I usually do, just 3, 20 min HIIT sessions a week, and I'm looking loads better for it. Feel fuller and am increasing my muscle mass.

My weight has just started to go up slightly, which is great as that is my goal, but its all muscle as my fat has dropped by 1%. I'm getting cuts that I havent seen before. I really am getting quite ripped with this stack...I should think about doing a competition really, as I look like I'm getting in shape to do one.

Am contemplating putting Powerfull back into the stack as I have had a break from it. When I used the Asteroid stack last time it was amazing. I was also thinking about P-slin. I haven't used it before but could be a good addition to have with a pre-workout meal, so I can load even more carbs in before I train.

One other thing that I have noticed lately, is that my drive and determination in the gym has increased tenfold, and I have always been well motivated anyway. I can't wait to go and do my next session, to see what PB's I can break. Its awesome!!!!!

Oh yah!! she's Primed!! All the usual effects for a good responder.

Well, I wrote a long post yesterday, and as I was about to post it my computer crashed, so here I am again, hoping that the same thing doesn't happen! lol

I have had another great week of training, and achieved more pb's. I wasn't sure how I was going to get on this week as I have had to change my training programme around. Usually I do 20 mins HIIT 3 mornings a week, and weight training 4 afternoons a week. Due to work I have done weights 3 mornings with cardio straight after and 1 afternoon of weights.
I thought that my energy levels might be low doing fasted weights, as I have usually had a big carb up before hand, but on the contrary. Taking Jacked, 2 recreate, 1 AP, 1 Cissus and BCAA beforehand seemed to help though. I was stronger than ever.

This week I have added 1 kg to pull ups, 1.25kg to Incline Bench Press, 1kg to Olympic Squat, 2kg to Deadlift and 1 kg to Military Press.

My weight has stayed the same which I am surprised at as I feel bigger and fuller. Alot of recomp still going on I think!

Next week will be my 8th week of taking Prime and I'm just about finished my pot, so I'm going to have a break for a few weeks, well at least as long as I can manage to stay off it for...the results are addictive, but I know I will get an even better effect next time after a short break.

Taking Prime has given me substantial increases in strength, dramatic recomp, amazing drive and focus when I'm training, and no adverse side effects. Its the bomb!!!

Need to invest in some PSlin and Powerfull, so that I can employ the fasted training protocol properly. Think I'm going to stick with it, as it frees up my afternoons and sessions felt really good.

Have used Powerfull before and loved the results, but never tried Pslin, so am excited about that! Once a get started them will keep you posted as to how I am getting on.
