Help, Ive lost my pump!

I'm on second week of Asteroid Stack and Freak Workout. Last week I felt an immediate effect from the stack and training, losing 1 and 1/2 lbs and a few inches. I was on 3 carb meals a day, 40g carbs at each, breakfast, pre workout and immediately post workout, taking AP twice a day at break and pre. Also taking 2 Prime x 3 a day and 2 powerfull twice a day pre train and at bedtime along with cissus.
This week i'm not feeling the pump at all and feel really flat. I carb cycle so am adding in an extra carb meal on 3 days which will be after my post train shake, so that will take me up to 4 carb meals and 3 AP
I'm thinking that maybe I need to increase my carb meals to 50g at each sitting, and maybe increase prme dosage to perhaps 69 protocol?
Incase you don't already know my stats I am 5ft 4, 119lbs or 54kg and I want to try and put on 7lb muscle to get me up to 126lbs or 57Kg. My bodyfat is pretty low already and my abs are clearly visible. Condition wise I could easily compete in about 4 weeks. I want to keep my fat levels where they are but get some more muscle on me.

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it!

Increase your carbohydrate intake or lower the amount of AP used.

AP saturates muscle cells with glucose and if you carb cylce, you will feel flat while using AP.

If your abs are clearly visible, you need to eat to gain muscle and you have the right concept slowly increase your carbohydrates....

One key time to eat about 60grams would with the meal before the workout so it can fuel and intense workout.

Thankyou so much for the quick reply!

Think I will increase my carbs to 50g, and to 60g with pre workout meal as you suggested. Going to keep carbs the same on training days, but possibly lower on non training days.
My primary goal is to gain muscle, and i'm doing cardio 4 days a week to help keep fat levels in check, so I should be able to afford to eat more.

Well, I had 60g carbs before my workout today, a mixture of banana and oats. What a difference it made to my workout! Stronger, more energy and I have got my pump back! My body can definately tolerate more carbs than I thought with the AP. I had to wait longer than usual to train though after I had eaten meal as I felt so full, lol.

You have the right idea about feeling out the situation and listening to your body but remember AP is meant to allow you to eat amounts of carbohydrates that would of normally converted into fat but now instead is lead into muscle cells fueling intense workout session and extreme recovery. Keep us updated.

In carb cycling approches, I only use Anabolic-Pump during low and mid days to assure lower, stable blood sugar and less insulin response. On high carb days, I use P-Slin powder or capsules.

I would use P-Slin, but I haven't found anywhere that stocks it in the UK. Its hard enough getting other USP supplements over here, and its pretty expensive.

Can you explain why you would use AP only on low to moderate days, as I thought that the idea of AP was to enable you to eat more carbs. I understand about keeping your blood sugar level stable.

Yep you have to adjust as AP seems to work better once it kicks in.

Typically, high carb days are to ensure an Insulin response. The high insulin release will allow you to spare some dietary protein on this day to stay in the caloric range. Keep in mind, this is simply my personal opinion/schedule.

However, I use Anabolic-Pump at least 3 times per day on low and med days.

Cool, thanks for that. I hadn't really read up much on P-Slin, but I have now. I think that AP is best suited for me to achieve my goals at the moment. As a bit of a supplement junkie, lol, if I can get hold of some P-Slin, will def try it in the future!

I agree.

AP is an intelligent supplement that requires us to listen to our bodies and adjust our dietary requirements.

I say AP is intelligent because it resolves around the end user understanding nutrition.

I am definately learning more about my body, which can make a big difference between a good and a bad result when competing!
Think AP wil be a staple in my supplement programme from now on.
Does it need to be cycled at all?

I am finding that out. I think AP was made for people like me who are sensitive to the needs of their own bodies. It is for the person who knows how to take care of themselves. If you are not eating properly or you are partying and filling your body full of toxic substances, chances are you are pretty insensitive to how your body is reacting. Clean living is a prerequisite to guaging your reaction to any supplement. Jut moreso with AP as you need to adjust to how you react to it which requires that your in tune with your body. Even things like Caffine can cloud your judgement. The cleaner your lifestyle the more senstiive you are. This is the kind of thing that may double or triple the amount of "non-responders". I truly believe that there is such a thing just not so many as we read about on the boards.

I eat clean all of the time apart from my 1 cheat meal a week. I do have whatever I want, but that generally isn't that bad as I'm not into junk food.

Starting on the Asteroid stack and more specifically AP, has increased my awareness of what I'm eating even more, and my bodys reactions to different carbs. I tried a 50/50 mix of fast and slow carbs after training yesterday, and actually felt that was better for me than just slow ones. I stayed pumped for longer after session, which was great!

I hope alot of people will learn from it...I certainly am. I've been training and competing for a few years now and I thought I knew an awful lot, that is until I came across USP Labs. It has opened my eyes up to new supplements that I haven't come across before, which mean dietary changes that I haven't employed before and new training strategies. I feel like a novice again! Lol.
