Anabolic Pump and Cheat Meal

On a Saturday I always have a cheat meal, usually something like southern fried chicken and potato wedges, followed by a BIG bowl of ice cream or banoffee pie about an hour later. I should mention that I eat completely clean the rest of the time. This is my only cheat meal, and I tend to go low carb on a Sunday after it.

I have 2 questions....
what is the best protocol for taking AP? should I just take it before start of meal, or take it before I have pudding where I will be getting most of my carbs, or is it pointless the as they are mainly fast carbs?

Secondly, I would like to ease up on my diet a bit more at weekend as I'm not competing at the moment. How much can I get away with whilst using AP?

Am loving the effects of AP so far!

1 - Take the AP 15-30 mins before the whole meal.

2 - In my experience i go anywhere between 45g to around 80g of Carbs at the meals i use the AP with.
 
To be really honest, I used AP in costa rica last summer when I had no control over my diet. Its pretty remarkable stuff when you test it all out like that. Two days of eating more leniently over the weekend + AP = you will be just fine!
 
That sounds good to me! I would never go too out of control, but it would be nice to be able to relax my eating a bit more.

I pretty much live on competition diet food, but plenty of it. I don't do it because I have to, I just enjoy clean foods. But because I tend to be so strict most of the time, I think that it would benefit my progress to gain muscle if I let go a bit more often. I do still want to keep my bodyfat in check though, as summer is approaching and so is bikini time! Lol
 
Just take 2 before a cheat meal... the way you are responding to it you have no worries and you metabolism will stay elevated. I take 1 AP an 400 mg plsin before a cheat meal.
 
Well I had a plate of curry and brown rice. Not much of a cheat really. Had hoped to feel really full and pumped when I got up this morning, but felt quite flat and have been all day. Think I'm learning that my body can cope with alot more carbs when on AP. On non-training days having less carb meals, and also playing with my head a bit as not taking prime and powerfull on these days either. Am sure that each week will be a learning curve.

Yah I am learning the same lessons... I guess if you have a really good response to AP you really need to increase the carbs. It's hard to imagine after being so carb sensitive all my life.
