I agree with RoadBlock,
start off slow with Recreate. From my experience, 3/day is an overkill (I am ~120lb). If your wife wants to take Recreate, have her take 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon and see how she tolerates it. As far as what can she expect from it, well, that depends...what is her weight, what is her diet like, does she train, weights or cardio, or both ? What are her goals ?

Also, the other female taking Recreate and asking about the safety of dosing it at 4/day is a figure contestant who was 6 weeks close to her competition. She had already been taking Recreate for awhile. Furthermore, she is a on a strict diet and a pre-contest training regimen so her dosing protocol is not likely to be appropriate for your wife, unless she is in a similar situation.
