So I got the flavor test pack from T.P. 2 days ago. Was finally able to rip the pack open.

FIRST... I want to impress upon EVERYONE. I was just a tester for new flavors... and I received my pack in less than a week... AND IM IN GERMANY. That right there is enough to get my business.... shipping when they say.

SECOND... TP, Thank you much for the shirt... it is now sleevless... and added to my gym arsenal. So if you get alot of orders from bases in germany... I get a cut!!!

So my first test was with Banana.

POWDER CONSISTANCY: 10/10. The powder was extremely fine... with a GREAT banana smell to it. Also a nice yellow hue.

MIXED WITH: Skim Milk

MIXIBILITY: 10/10. I have the blender bottle from Nutra, and two shakes is all it took. This I believe is a direct result of the outstanding consistancy of the powder. No clumping whatsoever.

FLAVOR: 10/10. OUTSTANDING flavor. I honestly didnt think it was protien.. more like a banana milk shake with the extreme sugary flavor... just a great banana flavor... not to sweet, not bitterness whatsover. I believe a half serving of this, 1/4th Peanut Butter, and 1/4 Cholcolate flavor will be a STELLAR mix.

FINAL THOUGHT: I know this test is for getting the flavor just right... but I think you have hit this one perfectly. Has a great distinct banana flavor. Actually tastes natural, and not a processed banana flavor. It accents the protien itself perfectly. Produces a nices smooth drink in milk, cant comment on water yet.

great review, it's much appreciated. yeah i am a fan of the banana too, we are getting our "final" flavors in early next week for one more round of testing, but they are all pretty close all ready.

the flavors we mixed with WPI cold-filtration. it is my favorite isolate, hands down. it's funny people think because it is our most economical isolate that it is the most inferior... not by a long shot. in my opinion it is our best isolate even over the expensive ion-exchange.

How and where to I sign up for your discount program? I have ALOT of people ordering from my old source, but shipping time, and communication cant even hold a candle to you guys.

I think Im going to bring in some of the banana into work, and give a bit to some of the lifters here in my shop. Im just astounded by the taste of the product. It taste like a banana popcicle.

nope you are doing great. most will say they like it, don't like it, and then give their opinion on what they really like and don't like, as it is sweet enough, but has too much of a chemical taste, etc. our chemist is pretty good dealing with us and giving our feeling, taste wise to him and working it out.

as for the discount program, contact dante at dante@trueprotein.com and he will send you our rules for the discount code program and how it works. i know most that do it, that do push their code never pay for protein again.

TEST: MOCHA

POWDER CONSISTANCY: 10/10. The powder was extremely fine, as they all seem to be. Had a nice mild mocha smell to it.

MIXED WITH: Skim Milk

MIXIBILITY: 10/10. Used the blender bottle for this test. Foamed up a bit... but that seems to be the norm with this blender bottle... cant seem to avoid it... but dont mind it.

FLAVOR: 8/10. I personally highly enjoyed the flavor of this. I have tried the cappuccino flavor of muscle milk... and that didnt hold a candle to this flavor. Sweetness was perfect... even could taste a nice mild coffee flavor. Only ideal I have for this one is tweak the chocolate just a tad... meaning up it... the coffee flavor is perfect.... just need a touch more chocolate overlay.

FINAL THOUGHT: Have another winner with this flavor. My next post below will have a TRUE final thought on this.. because I did another test with Mocha.

TEST: MOCHA as my morning coffee.

My IDEA: So I microed a mug of water, and put in my mocha protein.. with approx 150mgs of caffeine Anhydrous. I wanted to try this as a switch from my morning cup of joe.

Now I don't know if the hot water I mixed it with will hurt the protein.. but my test for this was GREAT.

POWDER CONSISTENCY: 10/10. See Above Post.

MIXED WITH: HOT WATER

MIXABILITY: 7/10. Okay... this one is a bit lower, because I stirred it with a spoon. I Microwaved a cup of water. Then put in my Mocha Protein. Have a few small clumps. Nothing to terrible... I think I will throw it in a hand blender next time, hot water and Mocha.

FLAVOR: 10/10. Okay... For this test, the flavor was dead on... since I used water instead. The taste was almost EXACTLY like those powdered mocha drinks from Swiss Miss.

FINAL THOUGHT: So anyway... as said before this was a replacement for my morning cup of joe. And I must say... as long as I didn't damage the protein before ingestion... this is my new start to the day. The hot water brought out the true coffee/chocolate flavor. Not only that... it had a nice little froth on the top of the mix... just like a real mocha.

Please give me some feedback on this... let me know if I damaged the protein before ingesting it... or if I am good to go to start my days with this.. and a little bit of added caffeine.

FLAVOR: LEMON

POWDER CONSISTANCY: 10/10. This is the same with all the tests I got.

MIXED WITH: Cold Water, because I don't think the fruitiness would go well with milk.

MIXIBILITY: 10/10. Used the blender bottle... same foam issue.. but settles quickly.

FLAVOR: 7/10. You have great headway with this flavor.. Im not usually particularly partial to the fruit flavors.. but this one is nice... MUCH better than Necter or Isopure. The sweetness was good, can maybe even drop it just a notch.... and what I would like to see is the lemon flavor to be a little more pronounced. The lemon was just a tad suttel for me. Dont know if this makes sense... but see if you can bring out the lemony flavor a little more.

FINAL THOUGHT: Nice change of pace from my normal chocolatey type protiens. As I said Im not usually partial to fruity flavors, because the actual flavor is taken away from by the protien. This was not the case here... you could tell that the flavor was there, and is well on its way to become perfected. Just a little stronger on the lemon.

FLAVOR: 7.5/10. This flavor was well done... I'd say just a tad sweet. When I began drinking it.. I was hoping for a slight sour/bitter taste almost... like you would expect from a lemon/lime drink. I don't know if that could be done... but that would be my direction for improvement.. but I also know you are aiming to the masses, and some might not like that in their protein drink.

FINAL THOUGHT: Another great direction with this flavor... when I got the flavors of Lemon, and Lemon/Lime.. I was very skeptical, because I am not a big proponent of the fruity protien drinks.. the flavor is usually way to over taken by the protein itself. TP has a great direction with their fruity protein here.

Next up.. Black Berry.. I am looking forward to this one.. in skim milk.. hoping it tastes like a Berry Smoothie!!!
