Less absorption with DMSO?
Granted, I've never worked with it, but I've been under the impression for decades that DMSO was the *gold standard* for transdermal agents.
The fact that it's a solvent and a penetratOR would seem to argue in its favor over blends apparently don't penetrate the skin themselves; but then, I'm trying to figure this stuff out. Since DMSO seems to be almost unused as a transdermal carrier in these parts, I figure it's either not all that, or there are compelling reasons (which I guess I can't see) why it's not used for what it seems best at. Can you straighten me out on this?
