DHEA Separation Question<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <HR style="COLOR: #abb9d1" SIZE=1><!-- google_ad_section_start -->If I soaked DHEA power in ethyl alcohol, heated and shook the mixture, then strained out the solids, would the DHEA be in the liquid? Could I toss the solids? Any knowledgeable info would be appreciated.

If your DHEA is pure and you don't saturate the solution then no precipitate should be left. If your DHEA is pure and the solution is saturated then what solid is left is DHEA.

I'm guessing he is starting with tablets. If so, that should work. The pure powder is dirt cheap - and you would be time and $ ahead to start with that.
