Nitric Oxide Homebrew Transdermal.

Looking for people to contribute their opinion on concocting a nitric oxide transdermal homebrew! First of all, for those who haven't tried the commercially available brand, this stuff feels awesome! Now it is obvious it must transport at least some L-arginine, but probably not nearly as much as could be achieved with say Dermabolics transport carrier! So, the question is, what ingredients should be included? How much L-arginine powder can be absorbed into the solution? Can anything be added to make the solution "anabolic"? There are alot of people who are laughing at this new gel, but I think if they tried it they would realize its potential. Below is a listing of the active ingredients included in the commercial brand, should these remain in the homebrew project or are some un-necessary?
Active Ingredients:
Vasotran Adverto
Includes:
-L-arginine
-Methyl nicotinate
-Muira Puama
-Panax Ginseng
-Catuaba
-Maca
-Nettles
-Zinc
-Menthol

When you refer to the commercial brand, you are referring to Legal Gear correct? It's okay to say that name, you won't get banned ;)

Interesting, are you a responder to NO tablet type products or even the powders out....I don't get jack from any of them and would like to find something that works!

This was discussed recently in another thread. It was my understanding that amino acids weren't stable in transdermal matrixes because of the solvents and penetration enhancers. The main ingredient in every NO product I've seen is some form of arginine. Seems to me like you'd see a situation similar to liquid creatines, and you're better off sticking with powders and caps. I don't know the product you're talking about, maybe they've got something new and effective going.

He is talking about a new legal gear product.

So "new and effective" is not likely.

If they've come apon some earth shattering breakthrough in trandermal delivery of proteins, it would be shocking since medical reasearchers have been investigating this area for some time now to deliver hybrid proteins and peptides. There is research using transdermal vehicles in conjunction with Iontophoresis (electro-magnetic field) and Phonophoresis (ultrasound) to transdermally deliver proteins and peptides, but it's expensive - definitely not the way to go for an NO product.

SO WHAT SCIENCE BACKS THESE PRODUCTS THEN???

Actually, The ones I was refering to were:
H.F.R Gel (as endorsed by Kevin Levrone, hahaha)

Legal Gear Infuse N.O

*There are a few others as well.
I cant verify that the l-arginine/arginine transports into the muscle BUT IF YOU TRY IT YOU WILL SEE, THESE PRODUCTS DO PROMOTE LOCALIZED, HARD PUMPS, likely due to the vasodilators in the gel. If they were cheaper I would buy them just for that reason! So, if there is an added benefit of L-Arginine etc, a custom homebrew would be awesome (if infact some arginine makes it into the muscle that is, and thats the question????)

Probably none. Bobo posted on another thread that it was impossible for an amino acid to be transdermally delivered. Something tells me Legal Gear hasn't found a scientific breakthrough. I'll post the link if I can find it.

A custome home brew is possible so long as you use vasodialators that are stable in the transdermal carrier and can penetrate the skin. Arginine isn't one of those, so there's really no point to adding it.

FYI: Topical L-Arginine HCL has been used for years by diabetics. And yes.. it works.
