Tastes like burning

I made some tren for sublingual use using notacow's crystal method and HPBCDs, but I tasted some of it and the **** kind of burns. I'm worried that I might not have gotten all of the methyl alcohol out somehow. (I followed the directions word for word.) Is this **** supposed to burn a little? I thought using HPBCD was supposed to get rid of the irratant factor. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't shoot it up my nose. If it is contaminated, can I boil out the MA? I'm about ready to say **** it and buy some UG labs **** and pin it, but I am hoping someone can help me out.
