Vanicream as a transdermal base

I saw this product Vanicream and on the label it says it is also used as a compounding agent for transdermals. You can get it right at wallgreens.

Up at the top menu under Pharmacists, there is information on compounding.

Any thoughts on this product. I tried "searching" on here and only saw one thread on it.
