Alright guys let me just come out and admit I am cheap as hell. I am starting a new program where i am suppose to do weighted dips followed by weighted pullups each for six sets of three. I currently use a dipping belt when doing these exercises, but I find hooking four 45 pound weights to be extremely unconfortable and switching between that and and 70 pounds for pull ups would take longer than my alloted rest time. What I want to do is put a 45 pound plate in a backpack, and use that in addition to a dipping belt for both exercises. This way i can have a 150lb db and a 45lb db at the station so i can just switch really quick between the two exercises. The main question here is anyone have any opinion on using the backpack for extra weight. Or any tips on a better way to achieve this. Thanks Guys.
