    petechiae and lifting

Do the two go hand in hand? I do have a blood clotting disorder known as Von Willebrand Disease, but nonetheless, could a rise in petechiae come from lifting? if so, is there anyway to reduce it?

    Resistance training can increase petechiae.

I would have a serious discussion with your physician.
Given your underlying condition, incorrect training could have some significant adverse effects on your health.

And best of luck to you my friend.

Do they know you lift weights? Most MD's I have dealt with wouldn't even think of it.
