    I started Bobo's cutting program last year around the same time - I went from 238 to 209 but I never took measurements nor monitored as close as this time around. I think I was using a faulty scale as well.. long story.

    after a very hectic fall/winter (broken collar bone through a severe car crash) I recovered very fast and got right back into it - unfortunelty I had to start cutting right away so I started 3/12 of this year at almost 17% BF @ 234lbs

    Diet is key and I give 90% success to Bobo's training and diet outline but the 10% from the supps is working damn well.

    Bobo's training thus far is incredible - I have broken every plateau I once had.

    Currently - this weeks stats are 240lbs at 10.9% BF

    I have never touched PH or AAS just for reference.

    I will post weekly stats in here as well from now on.

    past few weeks results - fat loss is starting to slow down a bit.



    Week 8 - 4/31 .3% bf lost

    LB - F= 18 UF= 16.5
    RB - F= 18 UF= 16.5
    C - F= 44.25 UF= 42.25

    BF= 10.6%

    210.57 lbs lean mass
    24.93 lbs of fat

    The Goal is 245 5%bf or less - hopefully close to that this time next year - working my butt off trying. No Pics yet - I promised them when I get to 5% or around - at the moment - even at 9% I still have weak abs - lots of veins are starting to pop out and cuts are present everywhere but for me - all my fat and I mean ALL is in my stomach, love handle - lower back area.

    I think there is a 34 inch waist in there somewhere - not having a full 6 pack yet is discouraging but....it's ok - about 5-7 more weeks till I am ready. PICs I promise though as I have one at about 20-22%bf to compare.

    Strength has been awesome - here's my log on what I have been taking that has helped tremendously but... last year no supps - kinda - and strength was still outstanding overall.

    245 at 5% holy god. A before and after from 22% would be rediculouse.. cant wait for that.

    I think you need to get yourself an hydrostatic bodyfat testing...methinks your estimate is umm.... "off a bit". 18" arms, 37.5" waist @ 5'11 and 235ls your bodyfat is closer to 15% BF if I had to guess. When I had those same measurements I was somewhere in the real of 14% and my waist was a bit smaller adn I was heavier at the time, too.) (the avatar is after a 5-6 month layoff and being back in the gym for 3 weeks, so its not representative). And, expecting to be bigger than many IFBB pro's (245 at 5% bodyfat) all natural is expecting a bit much.

    But, still a damn good accomplishment for being all natty... damn good stats.

    I don't think you can make that conclusion without seeing him, I know my waist even at a very low BF will never go below around 36" because of all the core/PL training my mid section is a lot thicker.
    But at 10% I would think you'd be able to see your abs pretty good?

    Anyway keep us updated, my goals are very similar, though I think 8-10% will be a happy place for me

    Well... I ddn't say that it was a fact, just that I believe its improbable. It is possible that his bone structure won't allow a waist much smaller than 37.5", but I've never met such a person (at that height).

    I've begun tanning and currently at 230lbs 7.5%BF (per the electronic calipers, no math here they do it for you) - WHen I get to 5% pictures will be taken - Not sure where you get the smaller waist = lower bodyfat thing - I understand all the formulas and where the math comes in but I dont' know what to say - I am using calipers and have been since starting dieting - they are only the 3 point check so maybe I need the ones that do 7.

    245 at 5% is a huge goal and I do have a ways to go but just because you or anyone you know can't do it doesnt' mean someone can't, does it?

    Well, I'm not trying to put u down or say you can't.... just that I've never seen a natty pro Bber much over 210 and contest shredded is like 5%.

    and, i only brought it up because the measurements just don't add up.

    I got ya, I think we both came off the wrong way, it does sound like it may be off, I've been spending a lot of time with my calipers and when I was sure I was at 14% I was really at 21%, I'm still not completely comfortable with my measurements but the more I practice the better I'll get with them (I hope). Anyway as long as there is consistency advancements can be measured.
    How bout some pics? Some of these guys can give you a pretty good guess at your BF just from your pic.

    7 point is better, and the other thing with calipers is you have to e careful not to squeeze too hard with them.

    I can get a 10% reading with a little too much squeeze! doesn't make my abs appear though

    I hear you guys - didn't mean to sound defensive, I'am a little grumpy at this point. I know what you mean about the squezzing to hard - I checked over and over last night and I got readings from 7.5 to 10.8 so I probably am squeezing to hard - plus it's the 3 point so maybe I am more around 9-10%, I'll get my hands on a camera in the next few days. Being depleted really messes with my head and I am putting too much trust into the calipers - I felt something wasn't right for it saying 7.5% but being depleted I just thought I was flat - go figure what a fun time this is
