Growing nech without adding size to traps

Is this possible and which exercises keep the traps out of the equation best? I've not trained traps for years as I strive to build a classic physique but my arms have caught up to my neck measurement and not wanting my arms to surpass neck circumference I figure I'd better train my neck.
