    Unusual Results

I just finished a long slow cut from 175lbs. down to 153lbs. ( I know I'm small). Things went fairly well and I'm looking pretty lean probably around the 10% range. My calorie level was at about 2200/day using a 40/40/20 split. I've spent the last 3 weeks or so just trying to maintain my weight and BF% and switched the diet up to about 2400 calories with a 30/50/20 split and my wieght has been steady at 153 lbs. Training has been the same - 4 days of weight training per week and 6 days a week of morning fasted cardio (65% MHR).

Here's where things get strange. I figured it's time to start slowly building some muscle so I increased the calories to about 2700 - 2800 calories (200g P, 300g C, 70-80g F) still all very clean, and dropped the cardio down to non-weight training days only (3 days/week). And now I'm loosing weight!

I don't know what to make of this or what to do next. I dropped some cardio, increased the calories and I'm dropping body fat. Should I just enjoy this and ride it out untill the weight stabalizes and then add in some more calories? Drop the cardio? Dropping fat is great but I'm almost 150 lbs. now, and that is a HUGE psychological barrier.

It's intimidating enough creating a post on a BB forum at 150 lbs. but 149 just sounds soo bad!

I say give your body time. You've been dieting for so long...

Going from one phase to the next is always tough.

Just make sure you aren't weighing yourself everyday, daily weight fluctuations will drive you nuts.

I usually check a few times during the week, but I take my 'official' weight every Monday morning after going to the bathroom. I've been down two weeks in a row since making the changes, we'll see if it stabalizes this Monday.

I'm going to take DieTrying's advice and just give this some time and see what happens. I know numbers don't mean alot and pictures say a thousand words, so I've updated some pics on the board that I took this morning.

Rather than doing something stupid right now and screw up what gains I have made over the last couple of years, I'm going to sign up with Bobo and start building some size the proper way just as soon as he has some time for me.
