Romaleo's 2 vs. AdiPower for Squats / Deads

anyone try either or both? I'm on the fence on which to get. Want the adipower but apparently they're very narrow. Might try some stores out but wanna hear some more feedback as google has given me a good indication of which to get.

Gonna be used for squats, Deads, and OH presses. Shoes I have now are no longer cutting it heel support wise

Depends on how wide your foot is. When they say "wide feet," they mean the space between your pinky and thumb toe knuckles. If it bows outwards, get the romaleos

I have the adipowers, and I think they're frikkin sweet for squats and ohp. I do deadlift in them now, but it feels totally different at first if you're used to flat foot deadlifting. And I just saw them on a crazy ass sale at eastbay

I'm flat and wide footed. The Nike's sucked. I would go with the Adidas.

and I wouldn't suggest pulling in them. Squats and OHP? Definetly

Got it. Thanks guys. If I'm a 9 in Adidas soccer cleats and they're snug I'm assuming a 9 is good right? Or go to 8.5? Other 9 shoes (Reebok's, Nike's) fit me nicely, not snug. Can slide a finger down the back in those

I went half a size down from my nikes and the adipowers were really frikkin tight for awhile. I had to get thin socks so it would be more comfortable. But they break in after a little while

do NOT go down half a size. most people wear a FULL size too short anyways. also, athletic shoes and dress shoes are a different scale so if you think you wear the same size in both i guarantee one of them is wrong. your foot expands when more weight is put on it. when running your foot can expand to a full size longer during impact. what do you think a few hundred pounds on a squat will do to your foot? yep, flatten it a bit and push the toes forward.

go to a specialty running store and have a professional measure your foot. get that size, not what you think you need. and dont be shocked if you think you need a 9 and they say an 11.

I'd stick with normal size if you go with them. My feet are wide and they fit me great. At the price posted up there you better get them...I spent 200 and felt they've been worth it.

Good deal man. I consider my feet to be really wide and fat, but the adipowers fit fine. Same size as a regular Adidas running shoe

Just tried them today. Fit perfect at my normal size and squats felt real good
