Best prep to be absolute strongest on 'event' day two weeks out?

First post, so bare with me (move to the proper sub-forum if necessary).

Say, you have a lifting meet in two weeks, and before this time you have been eating good, training hard, etc.

When would you cut off lifting weights? Would you do light workouts, if so, when and how soon before the meet?

What about nutrition? What foods would you eat days before and the morning of to be the strongest possible you could be at that meet?
