I do not have time to go out and do sprints every day as I am busy but would doing something like jump squats as fast and powerfully as possible for 30 second intervals be enough to capitalize on the metabolism boost? And if so how many intervals would be optimal for metabolism boost. Thanks

Check out the Tabata Protocol for Burpees. I am not a fan of anything that looks like cross fit , but this does seem like a good HIIT replacement.

I sued to do this routine, took approx. 3 minutes. It is 100 reps total; 10 reps burpees, 10 reps explosive push ups, 10 reps squat jumps. Repeat routine until 100 reps are completed.

Is that 100 reps per exercise, or would you end up doing 100 reps between the exercises?

Total for all three. Its harder than it seems. Doesnt take long but it sure does work. If you can do tha easy, do 2 or more sets of 100

I wouldn't want to do 2 more sets, LOL. I was just curious because I thought 300 in 3 minutes just seemed ... actually, it seems impossible now that I have some time to think about it.
