    The Mechanisms of Muscle Hypertrophy...

The Mechanisms of Muscle Hypertrophy and Their Application to Resistance Training

Good resource outlining the "ins and outs" of the hypertrophic response to resistance training. Also, it goes into how different variables may contribute to results and programming approaches.

Good read for advanced and beginner lifters, alike. Will definitely answer, or provide insight, for a lot of the OPs who post threads, "why can't I get said muscle group to grow" etc. While on the other hand providing scientific insight to add to an advanced lifters repertoire of information. Hope all enjoy.

Ah yes. I used this as a background to gather more info for a lot of my dissertation review of literature. A lot of good stuff in there.

On a related note, Dr. Esser has a lab on campus that I keep meaning to make my way over to:

Oh very nice, a good testament to the validity of the resource. I came across it as a result of my own research and figured I would share with any of those who cared enough to read into it.
