  1. How to maintain muscle mass ?


    Alright guys, my goal is to reach 180-185lbs I don't want to get any bigger then but only train for power/strength and endurance. Is it possible to maintain mass through heavy volume (6>1 reps) ? And would training for endurance @ 30reps build any size ?

    You build more muscle mass through diet, if your kCalories are not on a total Surplus (TDEE-kCaloric Intake of the day) then you won't build more mass.

    If you want more endurance check out:

    -Beta Alanine
    -Creatinol-O-Phosphate
    -Citrulline Malate
    -Agmatine Sulfate

    They help me a lot when I go for the high volume threshold.

  3. I'm lost on your goals.

    Are you saying you want to get bigger then increase strength? Get bigger then increase endurance...in which I ask, local muscular endurance (ability to do 30 pull ups) or endurance as in run a 10k?

    Or do you want to gain 10-15 pounds and then maintain that physique, whereby maintaining the physique is the goal, not performance?

    Yes but no, I currently train for strength and hypertrophy.

    Local muscular endurance (ability to do 30 pull ups).

    I want to gain 10-15 pounds and then maintain that physique, and aim workout for strength and endurance but not with the intention to build much muscle, so that is why I would be aiming for 30 reps
