shin splints

Hey all im back into running for my cut and wanted to know would strapping a cable to my foot and moving in dorsiflexion to strengthen the anterior tibialis would that help with making these not so painful

Honestly the best answer to shin splints is rest. Then reevaluate your mechanics as well as your foot gear. Then work back in at an appropriate progression. A persons running technique, footwear, and amount they progress are the main reasons for shin splints.

And learn to strike on your midfoot under your center of gravity vs. heel striking or toe-ing down infront of you.
