Pre-exhaust routines: How conducive are they to building mass?

Last week I did wide dips in the middle of my chest lift, and the rest of my lifts were weaker but I felt my chest being used more.
I saw somebody else post about a delt exhaust (in the delts topic on first page).

How effective are they for building mass? My only concern right now is size (so unique,I know). And if you guys have any routines, Id be happy to hear em. Thanks.

Pre exhaust are effective.. What bodypart where you looking for.. IF your never tried it before work it in to your program for a month and see how you respond.. You still would be able to add mass, just do compound movement after. Ex for delts

    lateral raise
    DB Press
    Front raise
    Rear delt
    shrugs

Interesting. Maybe I'll try this after my cycle ends.

Im really thinking chest because I feel that my chest is lagging in gains.
