Ever train out of boredom?

So I've been working as a translator for the past 18 months. It's good money as a rate (£35/$55 per hour) but I'm lucky to get even 20 hours a month. Luckily I still live at home so I don't have rent and bills to pay.

But I find myself incredibly bored at times and with nothing else to do than go to the gym. I go to a 24hour one so whenever I feel like I can just go up there and do something for 20-30 minutes.

Anyone else do that from time to time?

Plus I have a sleep disorder (non-24hour sleep-wake syndrome) so every 15 days or so I end up being awake at 10pm and sleeping at 12 noon the next day, so going to the gym between 1 and 5am is a regular occurrence for me.

Yea. I do all the time. I have a home gym... I'm like.. Meh today I don really wanna leave the house I just wanna stay home. So I'll just stay home and lift. Even if the weekends are my off days. I just eat more to compensate. Haha.

I do somewhat. What I mean is if it's an off day I don't feel like lifting free weights but I'll feel like doing some other sort of exercise. I always want to go and push a car for some reason, but it's not like I can really ask someone "Hey bud can you put your car in neutral so I can push it down the street? I'm a little bored today."

Usually I'll go in the woods and job trails. Right now I'm recovering from a broekn foot, so I'll hop on my bike and ride or swim if I need some destressing exrx.
