Hey,
Has any body seen a link to Rosie's marathon running program?
Was looking at that and was going too add in a hip circuit and some more posterior chain exercises.
The weight training will/can also help burn bodyfat?
What reps and set range would
I best be able to do this?
If someone could help out or suggest other things please fire them away

Shoot her a PM.

She is usually more than willing to offer her advice as long as your willing to listen. She also has a personal training service where she can help structure a program specifically for your needs

Yeah. I have been talking with her.
Can't really afford a trainer now JJ. Lol

Sorry I dont have much experience with running..

I would suggest maybe adding in some prowler work to your routine.

What are you training for? To run for a set distance?

I actually thought about this running trails yesterday...

But in regard to your post about over powering quads, I'd actually suggest a couple things:

First, stop running down hills. Anytime you crest a hill, walk the down hill. The eccentric movement is not only tougher on the joints, but also is quad based.

Next, start running inclines. Doing so will improve economy and strengthen the posterior kinetic chain.

Never thought of the down hill running. I run hard down hills too..when I track my speeds I'm getting up to 30kph down a hill.
Cheers man
