squats

  1. squats


    For legs I do about 6 sets of squats.
    1 warm up set then set of 10- heavier set of 6-6-6
    last set is heaviest and go to failure

    I also do calves

    Will this build legs well?

    This will build legs very well.

    Just make sure you are getting stronger too. So maybe every month or so aim for some kind of increase in either weight, sets, or reps.

  4. i wish they loved me as much as I love them....
    Always get screwed up on the lowering portion, my technique in this lift has been my downfall for years... My shoulder flexibility issue too...

  6. My upper body form breaks cause i'm thinking LEGS LEGS LEGS! hehehe, I just need to be more strict and have more core strength or i'll never lift heavy enough ... My bench press 1RM is MORE than my squats... Well I did blow my lower back on deads a little over a month ago so...

    Bench max is 285, squats is 265... I hope...

  7. That my friend is good numbers. My poundage is nowhere near that. I started lifting again after being off for more than 10 years. I look to vetrans like yourself for advice.

    I should be starting a log soon, utilitzing 5/3/1 protocol. I'll let you know when I do (should be next week. Im trying to decide what product im going to use while I run it. Some natural test booster probably).
