Am i overworking

When I do bi's I hit it hard from all angles to the point where my arms are cramping the rest of the day. HOWEVER the day after I got nothing. No soreness stiffness not even tight. Like I never did anything. So what I end up doing is a crazy amount of sets and exercises varying reps and volume just to get a tiny bit sore. Any advice to either get me progress or someone give me a bi routine that goes for hypertrophy
