  1. Knee Health


    I am an avid exerciser, 21 years old, and I find a lot of the time I have sore knees. I do a 3-day, fullbody workout (HST), which includes squats at the beginning of each workout.

    I want to maintain my knees for obvious reasons. Some of my favorite sports to play (basketball and tennis) rely on knee health quite a bit. Any suggestions for exercises or supplements that can help strengthen knees, or at least alleviate the pain? Much appreciated.


  2. also you might try; drinking more water, BCAAs, EFA gels, super cissus caps, multi. Stay away from stims. You could always inject hgh.

  3. In cases like these, it's SQ technique that's the problem about 90%+ of the time. Video of your SQ sets would be helpful to see if that's the problem.

  4. A correct squat should be performed BELOW 90 degress (contrary to what some still believe, pressure on the knees is highest in the 90 degree angle) and with your knees preferably not sticking out above / beyond your tiptoes.

  5. you may have patellofemoral syndrome. Google it and see if it sounds like the pain you experience.

    If so, it's from squatting with poor form which is likely that you extend your knee past your toes or poor running posture. If its patellofemoral syndrome, then you should keep your knee extended when sitting, lighten the running intensity, ice, and continue strengthen your quads with better form.

  6. Fish oil helps me and it might help you also.

    To add to this, muscular imbalances will also result in knee pain. Many runners and amateur athletes have over developed lateral quadriceps and tight IT bands, but weak medial quadrpceps, hamstrings and hip abductors. This results in poor patella tracking (your knee cap being pulled toward the side during activity) and can cause pain.

    Fish Oil/Bromelain for inflammation
