Jump rope time

Agreed 5 min warmup, post it depends, you could do it HIIT style for 15 or 20 or do it at a lower intensity for longer.
 
I was wondering how much time i should aim to jump rope for during my warm-up and post lift cardio?

It's entirely up to you. If you're doing a warm-up, I would say 5-10 minutes. Post-weights, again, your choice.
