Hey every body this is an update regarding my status.I am happy to say that I now have almost zero pain and am planning to resume training This TUESDAY!!
My PT gave me the green light to resume training and said that it was one of the fastest recoveries he'd seen.

Heres how I got rid of a severe case of bicep tendonitis.

01. 3 weeks of almost total rest.
02. IFT and Ultrasound therapy daily
03. NSAID for the first 7 days only. 400mg Ibobrufen
04.ICE
05.Topical application of Diclofenac gel and Linseed Oil.
06.Broom stick shoulder dislocations as part of rehab.

So If any of you guys have any nagging shoulder/bicep tendonitis this might help.

Now hopefully ill get back to where i was before the injury.

Take care guyzz............

awesome man, thanks for sharing. I had brachialis tendonitis a year ago from a dumb high frequency low volume program recommended to me for a cut, and it still flares up from time to time. good to know in case it comes back!

I had bicep tendinitis earlier this year. It was a pain in the ass. But I went to Physical Therapy every week, iced it everyday and took plenty of ibuprofen the first ten days. That helped a lot. I did only light shoulder work.

What are Broom stick shoulder dislocations? Just wondering because I got the bicep tendonitis as well but it hasn't flared up since I started taking super cissus. But jsut in case I would like to know.

I'll vouche for the dislocations, they work!

I had a similar case of BT and those coupled with balm, and foam rolling did the trick for me.

Here's a classic post by DC on them: Invalid Link Removed

You can do them with a towel, or miniband too, a broomstick is the hardest and probably most effective though.

I dont think those are for shoulder tendonitis, just for ROM problems and maybe bicep tendonitis.

I remember some people overdid them and ended up having a sublaxation, there is a video of some guy on youtube who can do them with a really narrow grip, not necessarily good.
