Have I Got This Right RE: Core Movements
Ive broken the core down into the movements & examples, please add to & correct me:
HIP FLEXION:
- CRUNCHES (STANDING, SWISS BALL ETC.)
- HANGING KNEE RAISES
HIP EXTENSION:
- SWINGS (DB, KB ETC.)
TRUNK FLEXION:
- AB WHEEL (HANDS OR FEET ON WHEEL)
- HANGING LEG RAISES (KNEES LOCKED)
- MED BALL SLAMS
- DRAGON FLAGS
- SLEDGEHAMMER SWINGS (VERTICAL)
TRUNK EXTENTION:
- GOOD MORNINGS
- REVERSE HYPERS
- BACK EXTENTIONS (ROMAN CHAIR)
ROTATION/CONTRALATERAL ROTATION - HORIZONTAL:
- SLEDGE HAMMER SWINGS (HORIZONTAL PLANE)
- TORNADO BALL
ANTI-ROTATION/STATICS:
- FULL CONTACT TWISTS
- PLANKS/SIDE PLANKS
- DECLINE STATICS
ROTATION - TRANSVERSE:
- RUSSIAN TWISTS (ON SWISS BALL)
- WINDMILLS
LATERAL FLEXION:
- DB SIDE BEND
- SAXON SIDE BEND
- LYING LATERAL FLEXION (ROMAN CHAIR)
DECELERATION OF HIP EXTENTION:
- WEIGHTED GLUTE BRIDGES
DECELERATION OF HIP FLEXION:
- ???
