tightness on the right side of my middle back

  1. tightness on the right side of my middle back


    I woke up this morning with back tightness. My mid back has been achy for a few weeks and today it is really tight. What can I do to help with this? I can't do a lot of yoga positions for my back now, because they put too much strain on my arm and my right arm needs to heal, so I can't do things like "the dog pose". I do have a heating pad and was thinking of uses that.


  2. I love those velcro air heat wraps. They give off heat for 8hrs and you can wear them under a shirt.

  3. What the hell are you doing yoga for anyway! get a foam roller and work it out. if that doesent work, go get a deep tissue massage. come on man...

    I have no money for massages. Is there anything I can do, without spending money?

    foam roller is the best thing.. My back gets tight like that all the time cuz I am a big girly girl..lol.. no but seriously foam roller works wonders for muscle tightness. Alsotrya tennis ball and work it out with that..

  7. Okay well I have tennis balls here. Do you suggest I just lay on the ball and like move my back against it?

  8. you lay on it , start at the low back and slowly slide your body down so the ball rolls up your back and as soon as you feel tightness or pain you stop and let it rest there then after the musclerelaxes you move it around a bit and try and work out whatever kink you have..

    try a goggle search you could prolly find a better write up and description online somewhere
