Alright guys i've looked around on here for a while now and i can't seem to find anything on speed training. I used to do 40's and 100 yard dash when i played football in high school, but now it seems to not help at all. Do you all think that running with resistance bands would help me at all or possibly running with ankle weights. i reference to ankle weights, ive heard that they have the potential to stunt growth and since im still growing i prefer to get as tall as i can before this happens. do you all have any other exercises that i could do that would help. Suggestions and corrections are more than welcome. If ankle weights wont cause any problems then i am more than happy to try them.
BTW i lift on 5X a week basis and need to figure out how often to try speed training.
