Training while sick

I'm 10 days into a run with 1-T Tren and for the past 5 days I feel like I have the flu. I've been going to the gym anyway (making sure I wipe down the machines to minimize risk of getting someone else sick). I think today will be my worst day, I have to get better tomorrow. I'm so f****** pissed I can't get good workouts in when feeling like this but - I think I finally have to admit that it is better to take a day off than to keep going? Thoughts on this? Should I just suck it up and go? Today is chest and tris then tomorrow is an off day anyway. I'd feel guilty skipping but idk how useful it'd be. I'm also feeling like chicken soup with noodles but that's not on my diet right now. Anyone know what to eat to keep the diet clean when sick?

The longer you keep stressing the body in the gym, the harder to get rid of the sickness. Your body is already doing alot to fight the sickness, and the stress of training makes it even harder. Some might say suck it up and train, but I would rather rest and get better sooner. That way I would have more productive workouts, vs. more crappy, I can barely do anything workouts.

Thanks. That is sort of what I'm leaning towards. Ok - no gym today. Maybe if I don't feel like death tomorrow I'll do today's workout since tomorrow was supposed to be my off day. Twenty more minutes and then I get out of work and go home and sleep until the sun comes up tomorrow - can't wait.

you could try cardio or just run and get a good sweat, drink pleanty water along and try to sweat it out then go home have a good soup and get a good nights sleep you should feel atleast a little better in the morning

Maybe it's just me, but whenever I'm sick I make it a point to go to the gym. 95% of the time I come out feeling better than when I went in.

usually true for me too but yesterday it wasnt happening. probably drag myself there today tho.

When your body is sick it is a good idea to rest so you can recover. Personally I wouldnt go and workout, but take the time off required to get better and start back up.
Not sure how this would impact your current cycle. WHat I mean is should you stop now and start up when you are better or continue with your cycle even though you are sick, but cannot work out which is where you would see the benefits of your cycle.
I am thinking stop cycle, recover, and come back with a take no prisoners attitude :)

No not first cycle. Were you thinking maybe the gear was making me feel weird and I was mistaking it for sickness?

Ya sort of. Weird stuff happens to me almost every cycle with GI, sleep patterns, BP, anxiety. I had flu symptoms with halo and SD but not with Pmag, havoc, or phera so who knows LOL. I was just trying to think outside the box for a second. :wave2:

Yeah I appreciate that. I get anxiety and depression sometimes on cycle but this is different. I mean if it was just feeling achy then I'd say maybe but this sore throat I've been having is so bad. I'm starting to feel better. Took off Tuesday and Wednesday is my off day anyway. I'm going to go to the gym today. Usually I go in the AM but I've been sleeping later and leaving work by 5 so I can hit the iron 5-630. Friday too then off again on Saturday. By Sunday I am hoping to be 100%.

Ya sore throat is NOT because of the cycle obviously. There's all sorts of crap going around late last week and early this week. I'm just getting over the sinus/respiratory right now myself. I bet you'll be fine in 1-2 days and, in my personal opinion, I wouldn't cut the cycle off unless I was still in bad shape by Saturday or Sunday.

I'd say spike the hell out of your kcals. I got a URI while using 1T (not the new stuff, the real stuff) and trying to cut. I dropped my kcals too low and was susceptible to illness. I usually get lethargic from it, but this was a new level. I abandoned the cut and started eating a ton and I felt better within 2 days.

Yeah I've been off the cut for two days and today I finally feel like I'm getting better. Throat is still real sore but I can actually keep my head up. Definitely going to hit the gym today and i am really hoping to be 100% by the weekend. Probably go back on cuttiing diet Sunday.
