    Beethoven
    slow music
    deftones is good
i get nothing out of heavy music and more out of something slow that can just get me to concentrate on the lift, when i try to get pumped up i just get careless and theres nothing better for heavy deads then some slow classical music haha

haha yes! a man after my own heart! finally someone else who listens to classical or slow music.

i like my music slow and/or f$cking EPIC. mozart is always good, also stuff from soundtracks... look up the groups "globus" or "immediate music", cheesy but sometimes epic as hell. gets me 1 million times more pumped than any sh$tty nu-metal fake pump garbage.

you haven't lived until you've achieved complete zen mastery listening to samuel barber's "adagio for strings" for 5 minutes, then busted out a 550 lb deadlift... beautiful.

I agree, adagio is one of my top workout songs. You got anything similar you can recommend? My slow and classical workout libraries have been lacking lately..
