First off how much are the bars on them i thought they were still 45 but someone told me they were 15.

Second how much easier is smith machine bench and squat would my numbers be about the same with and without?

    1. Depends on the maker of the machine
    2. Much easier bc you do not have to balance the bar and your numbers will not be the same.

The smiths machine i use has a bar weighing 16kg (35.2lbs or something) and the free bar is 20kg (45lbs) depends on the weight though.

I'd go free weight over a smiths machine anyday. Shame i have to use the smiths machine for squats
