shoulder pain (rotator cuff?)

I'd stay completely off the bench. I've hurt both shoulders several times in the past. Although I never went to the doctor for it, I recovered by doing the following:
1. Rotator cuff exercises. Here are some links:

You can find more through google. After a few weeks I moved on to
2. Rotator cuff exercises + push ups, then
3. Rotator cuff exercises + push ups + bench
I sprinkle in rotator cuff exercises into my weekly workout plan as a preventive measure.
However, I'm not a Dr. and don't have as much lifting experience as RenegadeRows, but still hope the links and my previous experience help. Just so you know, it took me 2-3 months to get back to benching each time. I hope you recover soon. - 01-12-2009, 03:16 AM
Thanks. I listened to renegade and didnt bench. But now im about an hour from going to the gym and I wanna hit it up benching. My shoulder is not 100% still but it feels much better. I dont think it is as serious as yours was SilverSurfer. Ill let you know how it goes.

Well I just finished benching. I was proud of my workout I got the most reps on weights than ever before. And I got my max for 1 rep again but it felt much easier, still could not get it twice though.
But now I definitely feel my shoulder hurting. **** sucks again its not too bad but still hurts. Tomorrows legs so I'll be ok for that but no shoulders this week and no bench again most likely. -
