Let that muscle grow.. How many days to rest?

I typically work one muscle group per day. So each muscle gets 6 days of rest. If I am feeling froggy I try to hit small groups 1.5x a week.

depends what you're doing. how much you're eating. what your goals are. Check out the HST routine (hypertrophy specific). Its a full body workout 3 times a week. thats not even 48 hours rest. but its only 2 sets per exercise. so the same amount of workout throughout the week just spread out rather than all 6 sets in one day
