    swimming, weight training

so im trying to go to states in 50m freestyle, its a very competive, strength focused event. i have about a year and a half of lifting time under my belt, im realitively strong, (275 squat, 350 deadlft, 215 bench) im a hardgainer (6 foot 3, 170) 4% bodyfat

anyways, what are some good moves to add into my program, that will specifically help with swimming?

    clean and press

though squats, deads, and bench (what you're already doing) will help as well.

Wide grip pullups and barbell rows would work your lats, which i believe are used a lot in swimming.
