I was told I do not breathe properly. Properly would be to bring air into the gut and not into the chest. I find it difficult not to suck air into your chest especially while lifting.
Anyone have articles on how to properly breathe while lifting?

It's fine to draw air into your chest, especially if you have your abs braced, then it's pretty much required.
thats how i have always done it and its how i have always seen it done.
