Women or Trainers Please Respond
Hello,
I'm helping a female friend get started on a lifting program. Because she would like to traject herself toward figure/physique competition, I want to get her off on the right foot. Her main goal/challenge is growth.
I was thinking of showing her a basic three day split using mostly basic movements with free weights. I'm hoping that some of you who are either trainers or female athletes could provide your thoughts.
Mon: Chest/shoulders/tris
Wed: Lower Body
Fri: Back/Traps/Bic
I'm not a big fan of women using all machines or little chrome weights as is often seen in many health clubs. there is no reason for women to not challenge themselves in the weight romm. but, that said, please discuss any considerations that might be important.
She'll be gettin a qualified trainer in the near future but she wants me to get her started.
