Nolva side effects

Hey Guys.

I have been using nolva to get rid of some gyno, and have noticed my eyes hurting little bit.
Should I be concerned?

My planed dosing is:
week1 80
week2 60
week3 40
week4 20
week5 10

Right now I am at the end of week1.

Are there any other sides of nolva?

I wouldn't use anything over 40/40/20/20, I've never heard of anyone using 80 mg of tamox.

I second that one, 80mg is way too high. Do some more research and you'll find plenty of evidence that proves higher doses of nolva do not equate to increased effectiveness.

id have to disagree with u on that one...i had purbery induced gyno and tried nolva a couple of time with no hope...going all the way up to 80mgs...then i took a leap and did 4 weeks of 120mgs (slowly tapering down) and it did the trick...so in my experience a higher dose will get rid of gyno better than a low dose...just my experience...

and NO...ur eyes hurting has nothing to do with Nolva...

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Adults

The initial dose is 20 mg (two NOLVADEX tablets, or one NOLVADEX-D tablet) once daily. In advanced breast cancer, if no response is seen, dosage may be increased to 40 mg (four NOLVADEX tablets, or two NOLVADEX-D tablets) once daily.

OVERDOSAGE

On theoretical grounds, an overdosage would be expected to cause enhancement of the pharmacological side effects mentioned above. Observations in animals show that extreme overdosage (100 to 200 times the equivalent of the recommended daily human dose) may produce oestrogenic effects.

There have been reports in the literature that NOLVADEX given at several times the standard dose may be associated with prolongation of the QT interval of the ECG.

There is no specific antidote to overdosage, and treatment must be symptomatic.

In relation to your question concerning effects on your vision:

A number of cases of visual disturbances, including infrequent reports of corneal changes, and retinopathy have been described in patients receiving NOLVADEX therapy. An increased incidence of cataracts has been reported in association with the administration of NOLVADEX.

First off, Nolva is not a supplement, wrong forum.

If you want you can be anal and adjust for the citrate, it makes up around 33% of the weight, IIRC

So 100mgs of tamox citrate would be 67mgs or so of tamox

YES, they are the only eyes you get. Who knows if its the nolva, but if my eyes hurt I would get them checked out just to be safe.

If your eyes are hurting, don't post on an internet forum....

Go to a doctor!
