I ended up getting a replacement from Nutraplanet per Omega Sports replacement request. (Thanks Nutra). :head:


I opened up the bottle and here's my results:


-Still no lot number present
-84 out of 90 capsules present
-7 capsules completely empty (I opened up the caps)
-60 capsules not properly filled
-10 capsules that were 'dented'




...................lol. This is actually worse than my previous bottle I had. My previous bottle I had only had 2 empty capsules.


They have some serious quality issued that need to be addressed.
 
Dang! you do that with all your supp caps or were you kind of expecting it from these guys? IS this a known problem with these guys?
 
No, this is a known problem. My first bottle was messed up too. A lot of people got jacked up bottles.

Apparently there was a huge batch that got messed up ? I'm not exactly sure to the extent of what happened here.


There was a thread on bb.com called 'Why I won't buy from Omega Sports' or something to that degree.

reaper, the randomness of your sig cracks me up, as always.
 
Wow so they're ****ing up with the caps. Then again there's no way for Nutra to know if there are empty caps or missing caps, they can't open the bottles, all they do is re-sell, typical internet business. It's the distributors fault, machines aren't doing their jobs... soon they'll rebel and it'll be skynet in the future like in terminator 2.
 
No its not Nutra's fault. Nutra just ships out whatever they got in stock.


Omega Sports needs to recall this kind of stuff and replace it. Not try to 'phase it out'.

There have been a few companies with quality control issues like this.

Generic Labz has some underfilled Cissus-Drol capsules as well. Not as bad as Omega Sport. The worst was probably 1-2 capsules filled at half capacity. The rest were around 3/4th full.


I got 7 flat out empty capsules here. I can immediately tell that they are underfilled. They are big capsules but feel really light when I poured them out in my hand last night.
 
I never thought before to actually dump out a bottle and count all the pills/tablets/capsules/whatever to see if they are actually accurately filled.


I do now however.
 
I say to people, to weigh all their caps and count all the caps in a bottle. I never thought about it but now I AM!

We have recalled everything from our warehouse and it is being destroyed. The new batch will be back out shortly.

Stores have been instructed to issue additional bottles to compensate for the underfilled caps.

Someone at the manufacturer we use broke the machine and did not tell anyone. He was subsequently fired after that.

I got 2 bottles on the house from Omega direct to make up for the issue. I expect there to be the same issue since its all one big batch, but with the 2 free bottles on top of the 2 paid bottles, I know I am more than made whole.

Instead of 1 cap 3 times a day, Im taking 2 2 times a day to psuedo-adjust for light caps. (Im up ~3.5 lbs in 16 days fwiw)


I'd place a large wager that matt at Omega will be switching manufacturer's for future runs.

A capsule sorter should take care of this issue- it pulls all of the low weight defects out into a seperate area- seems like Omega is being diligent about taking care of the issue promptly...
 
well this friggin sucks ass. maybe I need to read BBing.com more. Being the dumbass I am I was just happy to have a supposedly top test booster in my stack. I wasn't sharp enough to open up the the capsules and take a look. After reading what you posted Reaper I was like "hey, mine was the same damn way!" I had a gob that was dented to hell and nearly all of them felt light to me also. I thought that was just the way it was.

That was a blast throwing nearly $40 to the wind when I could of just got another bottle of Diesel Test HC or more Testofen.

I'm not much of a whiner about stuff but hell man I want compensated for wasting my hard earned money too.

I have the proper facilities to destroy remaning stock! I won't even charge you a fee for my service either. :)

And if these underfilled caps are producing solid results I can't wait to see what happens at full dose, should be crazy.

When did you order your bottle ? Omega Sports told me to just request whomever I bought it for to send out a new bottle. I contacted Nutraplanet and got a new one sent out to me this past week.


Just tell the place where you got it to replace the bottles and your order #.

I agree. It sucks. The tops of the caps were dented, and all of them felt light.

I still need to figure out what I'm going to use 7 empty capsules on.


......Probably crack+speed as a pre-workout. :head:
