Make sure you look at the EPA/DHA content in you fish oil as that is what you are ideally trying to supplement with. Not all caps contain the same amount.

well from my work i can get 300 caps for $22 at 1000mg each at 120 EPA 150 DHA

so im trying to see if thats worth it or not

I always use da fish oralz! I usually get 120 1000mgs for about $6. I get mine at walgreens when there bogo...

hm idk thats kinda a weird ratio...i try to go for 3/2 EPA/DHA. Nutra has 1000 caps for $25 with 180mg EPA and 120mg DHA per cap.

Nutraplanet definitely has the best prices for caps. I will probably stock up on the liquid next time VShoppe has a buy one get one half off sale. I wish nutra would get a bulk liquid, its just so much easier than ten caps or whatever your dosing may be. even with any sales though nutra still blows any other place out of the water for cost/quality. Unless you plan on serious megadosing I would say nutra is by far the way to go.

I take 4 - 1200mg caps... I think a 90 cap bottle was like 13 bucks.

Does it matter what time of day you take fish oils? I tend to take them right before bed. For some reason, I dont get those nasty burps when I take them at night.

For the burps try freezing the caps, always does the trick for me. As for timing I think most recommend dosing them with a meal that has other fats in it as well and usually later in the day so they don't get oxidized and used for energy.

I use the bulk fish oil from nutraplanet - 1000g for like 25$

I usually take 15-20g/day but im on a CKD
