stomach pain

Re: My stumach pains... I went to the doctor

For the last year and a half, I have been getting the worst stomach pains and it is usually at night. It sometimes comes right after I eat like with in a 10 min time span or it comes hours later. But, it never fails I get one. I tend to get them anywhere from 2-3 times a week and last anywhere up to 3 hours.
It feels like a lot of pressure and sometimes burns. But for the most part, just pressure. If I try to drink something to make it feel better, it ends up making it hurt more. If I lay there and put pressure it with like a pillow then it helps relieve some pain.
I am 5’8 and 125 lbs and I was wondering if there is anything supplement wise that I could take to help.

You might have something like an appendicitis or a peptic ulcer disease. I'd recommending taking a trip to the doctor to get checked out.

For the meantime, try taking an OTC NSAID, like ibuprofen.

Or several other things. But good point. Bottom line, you should head over the doctor girlie. Have blaze take you.

lol no way, i have my own problems =\

Plus me and doctors don't mix. I told her to go to the doctors long ass time ago, when it first started, but she doesn't listen to me... =\

Does she get 47 karma points on 6 posts just 'cause she's a gurl? ;)

Anyways, have you tried changing your diet? I know that sounds like such a st00pid question but heck, maybe you've been eating something you're allergic to...

I know that oatmeal makes ME sick every time I eat it. We're all different. Just my 0.02$

shes a post whore in OT. When u post in off topic you get more karma but not points towards your post count.

:D :D

Yeah I think changing my diet may help but the thing is I never get it during the day just mostly towards the evening. Alot of the time though it happens after I eat fast food. So maybe I will try changing that and see if it helps.

Sucks for you man. When I need quick carbs, I eat the stuff un-cooked right out of the box. Good times...

BlazeGirlie...don't be worried, it's probably nothing too severe, and the doctor should have you all better in no time!

Just curious, but do you have any diarrhea or constipation?

If so, chances are you may be suffering from irritable bowel syndrome. Symptoms of IBS, which has been diagnosed in twice as many women as men .... include gas, bloating, abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhea. It's usually caused by an overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine.

Usually the only way to take care of this is with antibiotics, and in some severe cases, a steriodal dose of Prednisone. In any case, please see a doctor when you have the chance.

Hope this offers some help.

I went to the doctor....

I went to the doctor last friday and he said that he doesn't know what is causing it. He did an ultrasound and still nothing so now I have to go back and drink this stuff that taste like charcoal and not eat anything 24 hours in advance so that they can see if its something wrong with my intestines. But I also haven't had them in a couple of days. Thank you for your concerns guys.

I hope not either. I will find out soon and let you guys know.
Say, JblazeGirlie, did you ever figure out what was wrong?

I am having my share of frequent pains and bloating. For instance, right now.
